Mrs. Gilbert

I feel so fortunate to work with the Live Oak community.  I am thrilled to be a part of a staff and community that are so involved and enthusiastic about learning.

I graduated from CSU Hayward with my teaching credential and Masters in Education. I have taught kindergarten through third grade. I was born and raised in Pleasanton and currently live in Danville with my husband and daughters, Kylie and Hailey.

I strive to ensure that all students are successful and challenged academically. In my classroom, each school day will be engaging and enriching experience filled with new learning and new friendships!

I look forward to exciting and fun school year!

Mrs. Lewis

I am delighted to be at Live Oak Elementary, and I feel fortunate to be a part of such a phenomenal school district.  The staff and community are committed to their students and the passion for learning is evident in every classroom.

I graduated from Cal State East Bay with my teaching credential, a minor in child development, and Masters in Education.  I have taught in Pleasanton,Tracy, Danville, South Korea and now San Ramon!

I was a middle school teacher for 3 years before moving into elementary school for the past 4 years.  My husband and I live in Livermore with our 5 year old daughter- Alaina, 10 month old son- AJ, and new puppy- Bodie.

My hope is for children to become intrinsically motivated and develop a life-long love of learning in a supportive and engaging classroom.  I am looking forward to a successful year with my students and their families.

I am very excited to be on the 3rd Grade team at Live Oak Elementary again this year!

I completed my teaching credential in 2011 from CSU, Monterey Bay and have been

teaching in the San Ramon Valley school district thereafter.  Prior to entering the education field, I was a successful Account Manager in the banking industry for 18 years.  I have a

B.S. in Finance and Real Estate.  I am a product of the San Ramon school system and

currently live in San Ramon with my family.  This year, my son will be entering 4th grade

at Walt Disney Elementary.  We love playing and watching sports (Go A's, Raiders,

Warriors, and Sharks),  eating healthy, and spending time with family and friends.

I'm looking forward to a very active year of learning in C8 this year!

I am so excited to return to Live Oak this year! I've been working in the

San Ramon Valley Unified School District since 2008. I have taught 4th grade

for 3 years here at Live Oak and this will be my second year teaching 3rd grade.

I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Literature and Language

at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and went on to receive my Multiple Subject

Teaching Credential, Teaching English as a Second Language and Educational

Specialist Credential at St. Mary's College. I taught in Elementary, Middle and

at the University level for six years in Korea before my move to San Ramon in 2007.

I have a set of twins, Sarah and Hannah that will be 10th grade at Doughtery Valley

High School and my oldest daughter, Lauren, will be graduating UC Santa Cruz this

winter majoring in Biology and will be continuing her education in Computer Science.

We all love to travel to Korea, watch movies and find new restaurants. I also love to shop,

drink coffee, and attend yoga class with my girls.

I appreciate the high expectations set by our staff and parent community,

and will work toward meeting the needs of all of my students to make

them successful.  I look forward to a fantastic school year!

Teaching has always been my passion as I follow my father’s footsteps

in becoming an effective educator.

It is an honor to be teaching at Live Oak Elementary School.

I grew up and went to school in the SRVUSD (K-12). It is so nice

to be back in the same district that instilled the importance of education

in me at a young age. I graduated with a BS in Behavioral Science with an

emphasis in Psychology from Utah Valley University. I later went on and received

my teaching credential through Saint Mary's College of California. I believe all students

play a unique part in our classroom community. We learn from each other every day and

I look forward to a fun and exciting year!

I am excited to be teaching third grade at Live Oak Elementary with such an amazing and caring

team of teachers. I am proud to be one of the original third grade teachers that helped open the school

10 years ago! Third grade is a wonderful year of growth and learning and I strive to bring out the best in

each of my students by making sure everyone feels valued as a special member of our classroom community.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking and attending sporting events with my family. I am looking forward to a successful and challenging year for all of my students.
