Ms. Srisha's Art WebBlog

I am very excited and privileged to start my 2nd year at Live Oak.  I have 10+ years of experience teaching art at various after school programs around Windemere.  Teaching art to young kids is my passion. I am creative, energetic and enjoy working with kids. One of the most satisfying parts of teaching is to watch my students explore and discover their own artistic abilities, ideas and talent. I love to show my students how to bring out the best in themselves and believe in themselves. I have displayed my artworks in various galleries in and around San Ramon.

I live in San Ramon with my husband and 2 kids.

Looking forward for an ARTISTIC year at Live Oak!!!

I am very excited and honored to be starting my 10th year in the library at Live Oak Elementary.  I am very lucky to be able to work with this great team of GoldenEagles.

I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in San Ramon for the last 26 years.  After graduating from UCSB, my husband and I were happy to come home to Northern California.  My 21 year old twins went through the San Ramon Valley Unified School District from kindergarten through high school graduation.  They are both now currently in college.

When I’m not at school I enjoying reading, hiking and traveling.

I am starting my 5th Year at Live Oak supporting the IT equipment and network for students and staff to enhance the learning environment here. Having worked at many campuses over the past summers, I appreciate and enjoy keeping our IT systems up and running for all students and staff.

My three children have all experienced the complete educational opportunities at SRVUSD. When I have free time, I enjoy hiking the local trails and playing the ukulele with a Bay Area Hawaiian ensemble.

I am excited to be returning to Live Oak and continuing to help support teachers with their technology needs to better prepare your child for the future. In addition, to assisting our administrative team in providing the necessary resources for students to be successful, I will also be working with the 5th team using video production as a means of publishing their writing projects. Additionally, I will be growing our Eagle's Nest (STEM Lab).

Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children. We enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and taking trips exploring this great state.

Speech and Language - Lori Balleza lballeza@srvusd.net

I have been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Live Oak Elementary since Fall 2010.  I provide speech and language assessment and services to children who are in preschool through fifth grade. Prior to becoming an SLP, I had a different career in software development and support at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. Being an SLP is my passion and I love being a golden eagle.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, running, playing soccer, watching the Golden State Warriors, and watching my high school boys play sports.

School Psychologist - Barbara Jelin bjelin@srvusd.net

I have been a School Psychologist in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District since fall 2006.  My first year in SRVUSD was with the opening of Quail Run, while providing direct services to students at Iron Horse Middle School along with a bit of time in the infant program. A year at California High School followed by the majority of the years at the elementary schools. My amazing experiences include working with the various teams; providing direct services to students in the individual, small group and classroom settings; as well as consultation services.  Thrilled and grateful to have implemented programs such as Heartmath Test Edge https://www.heartmath.org/programs/education/emotion-self-regulation-technology and Mindful Schools’ Mindfulness program https://www.mindfulschools.org in various classrooms and small group settings.  On my free time I enjoy outside activities with family, friends and community events.
