Non Classroom Instructors

I am very excited and privileged to start my 3rd year at Live Oak.  I have 10+ years of experience teaching art at various after school programs around Windemere.  Teaching art to young kids is my passion. I am creative, energetic and enjoy working with kids. One of the most satisfying parts of teaching is to watch my students explore and discover their own artistic abilities, ideas and talent. I love to show my students how to bring out the best in themselves and believe in themselves. I have displayed my artworks in various galleries in and around San Ramon.

I live in San Ramon with my husband and 2 kids.

Looking forward for an ARTISTIC year at Live Oak!!!

I have been part of this great school since we opened in 2007. I am honored and excited to continue working in the library at Live Oak Elementary. .  I am very lucky to be able to work with this great team of Golden Eagles

I grew up in the Bay Area and have lived in San Ramon for many years.  After graduating from UCSB, my husband and I were happy to come home to Northern California.  My twins went through the San Ramon Valley Unified School District from kindergarten through high school graduation.  They both have now graduated from college and are working!

When I’m not at school I enjoying reading, hiking and traveling.

Speech and Language - Lori Balleza

I have been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Live Oak Elementary since Fall 2010.  I provide speech and language assessment and services to children who are in preschool through fifth grade. Prior to becoming an SLP, I had a different career in software development and support at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. Being an SLP is my passion and I love being a golden eagle.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, running, playing soccer, watching the Golden State Warriors, and watching my high school boys play sports.

School Psychologist - Kyle Wallace

Resource Specialist - Donald Fraser

I am excited to be teaching at Live Oak Elementary, home of the Golden Eagles! Over the past 10 years, I have taught grades from Kindergarten to 9th-grade classes, both here in the states as well as outside the country. I enjoy working with students, helping them find their strengths, and developing strategies to overcome their challenges.

After working for a major bank for over 15 years, I returned to school, attending Saint Mary's College where I earned my Teaching Credentials.  Outside of school, I have three children (two in high school..O my!), I enjoy getting outside and traveling, and have both a cat and dog, as well as the more exotic chinchillas.

I look forward to meeting and learning more about each of my students! Let's have a wonderful year!

Hello Golden Eagles, this is my sixth year at Live Oak and twelfth year in our school district. I love working with the students, and when I’m not in school I like to cook, listen to music, and host parties for my friends. I’m excited to start a brand new school year and feel honored to be part of such a passionate and dedicated community!
