I have been a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Live Oak Elementary since Fall 2010.  I provide speech and language assessment and services to children who are in preschool through fifth grade. Prior to becoming an SLP, I had a different career in software development and support at Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies. Being an SLP is my passion and I love being a golden eagle.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, running, playing soccer, watching the Golden State Warriors, and watching my high school boys play sports.

Hello students and families!  I am very happy to be joining the Live Oak Community.  I provide psycho-educational assessments, counseling, and consultation services.  I have been working as a school psychologist for 15 years and enjoy being a part of school teams that help students soar.  I have had extensive experience working in a counseling enriched program that focused on enhancing student emotional health.  When I am not keeping busy with supporting school communities, I enjoy reading, camping, singing, swimming, watching documentaries, and spending time with family and friends.

I am excited to be a part of the Live Oak Team!  This is the start of my third school year with SRVUSD.  I have been in teaching since 1993 and have taught everything from Resource, SDC, to regular education and even homeschooled for a few years.  My husband, three children and I moved to California in 2009 from New Jersey.  When I am not in the classroom I can be found poolside officiating either a High School or USA Swim Meet.  I also volunteer with my local Girl Scout Service Unit  as a troop leader and I am the Head Cook for a volunteer run Girl Scout resident summer camp.  I love to read a good book, enjoy a good meal with friends and family, and also love a good Netflix binge.

Hello Golden Eagles, this is my sixth year at Live Oak and twelfth year in our school district. I love working with the students, and when I’m not in school I like to cook, listen to music, and host parties for my friends. I’m excited to start a brand new school year and feel honored to be part of such a passionate and dedicated community!

I am privileged to be starting my third year with Live Oak Elementary.  I have worked as a T/K para and also supported our students in English Language Development.  Currently, I am working with our students as a reading instructor. I love giving support and resources for our students and watching them succeed in school. I have 3 daughters, 2 in college and a soon-to-be high schooler.  Outside of work I love to travel with my family and friends.

Hello, my name is Dora Banoub and I like to go by “Ms. Dora”. I am honored to be a part of the Live Oak community. This is my third year at Live Oak.  I spent my first two years as a para-educator for 5th grade. This year I am privileged to work with our English learner students. Having been an EL student myself many years ago, I enjoy working with the students and providing them with resources and individualized support to help them excel.  We work on different areas of the English language, speaking and listening, reading, and writing. I have lived in San Ramon with my husband and two kids for the past 20+ years. Both of my kids are graduates of the San Ramon school system. My son who is 21 years old is now a Senior at UC Davis and my 19-year old daughter is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara.

In my free time, I enjoy serving in my church, traveling with my family, reading, and playing with our newest family addition, our kitten Pluto.
